Man jailed for allegedly stealing girlfriend’s bag

Runell Hairston, 30, of 2305 Lycoming Creek Road, has been locked up on charges of robbery, theft and receiving stolen property for stealing a drawstring bag from his girlfriend at the apartment they share about 3:10 p.m. Monday, Old Lycoming Townhip police alleged.

Following his arraignment before District Judge William Solomon, Hairston, who was nabbed within minutes after the robbery, was jailed in lieu of $25,000 bail.
