Andrew MacGill, 23, of 52 Short St., Jersey Shore, has been jailed on charges of terroristic threats and simple assault after pointing "a prop gun" at a group of people in the 600 block of Railroad Street in the borough about 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Tiadaghton Valley Regional police alleged in an affidavit.
MacGill told police that he "agreed to meet" two people on Railroad Street "to fight them," but upon "seeing additional people there," he went back to his home, the affidavit stated. However, six people at the scene all reported seeing MacGill allegedly point "what (to them) looked like a gun" directly at them from a window of his 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander, court records stated. After obtaining a search warrant, police located and seized "a prop gun" in MacGill's attic, the affidavit stated. MacGill admitted "that was the gun that he used," police said. Following his arraignment before Biichle, he was incarcerated in lieu of $25,000 bail.
