Judges, lawyers and paralegals met at the Lycoming Law Association office to plan for this year's Lycoming County Law Day Competition. Information for entering the art and essay contest is available on the Lycoming County Law Day Facebook page. This year's theme, “Cornerstones of Democracy: Civics, Civility, and Collaboration” will inform students about rebuilding trust in our institutions, respecting one another, and encouraging a willingness to collaborate to address the challenges that face our nation. The contest is open to all Lycoming County students (private, public and homeschooled). The winners of the contest will be celebrated at a ceremony at the county courthouse on May 12th.
