Gilbert Bernard Palmer, 42, of 2415 Lyla Lane, has been charged by the county's Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU) with three felony counts each of deliver of a controlled substance and illegal use of a communication device after he sold crack cocaine to an informant on three occasions between March 9 and April 13 in the city, it was alleged in an affidavit. The sales occurred at Federal and Funston avenues, West Third and Arch streets as well as at Trenton Avenue and Depot Street, investigators said. Initially jailed by District Judge Gary Whiteman, Palmer, now living in the Philadelphia superb of Drexel Hill, is free on $50,000 bail.
In another NEU case, Raymond Smith Bradley, 42, of 805 Diamond St., has been charged with two counts each of delivery of a controlled substance and illegal use of a communication device, all felonies, for his alleged involvement in two city sales of methamphetamines to an undercover officer, according to court records. One sale occurred at Sixth Avenue and Isabella Street on Jan. 30 and the other occurred 11 days later at Bradley's home, investigators said. He was arraigned before District Judge Aaron Biichle and released on $50,000 bail.
