At 1 a.m. on March 18, Mason Whitmyer, 24, of Montandon, was arrested after Muncy Borough Police observed his 2014 Chevrolet Silverado cross the double yellow line in the 2700 block of Lime Bluff Road in Muncy Creek Township. Police followed Whitmyer into the parking lot of Palcon, where he parked.

Upon making contact with police, Whitmyer admitted that he had been drinking, and a friend was on their way to pick him up. He had glassy, bloodshot eyes, and police detected the odor of alcohol coming from Whitmyer, court documents state.

Whitmyer failed a field sobriety test and had a BAC of .18. He was charged with DUI, a summary offense, waived his preliminary hearing, and was released on $2,500 bail.

In another case, at 1 a.m. on April 15, Christian Ross, 43, of 455 Tinsman Ave., was arrested after state police noted the registration on his 2014 Chevrolet Cruz, parked in the Sheetz parking lot, was expired. Further investigation led police to discover Ross' driver's license to be expired.

Police observed as Ross left the parking lot, with his right headlight out, and made a turn on Westminster Drive without using a turn signal, where he was pulled over, an affidavit said.

Ross had glassy, bloodshot eyes, and police detected the odor of alcohol coming from his vehicle, where multiple empty Yuengling bottles were visible in both the front and rear seat, according to court documents.

Ross refused a field sobriety test, but showed several indicators of impairment and had an odor of alcohol on his breath, police allege.

He had a BAC of .33. Ross was charged with DUI, three summary offenses, waived his preliminary hearing, and was released on $5,000 bail.

In another case, at 11:15 p.m. on May 20, Marie Fisher, 57, of 1355 Broadway Road, Milton, after a report of a 2017 Subaru Forester along the road in the 8000 block of Lycoming Creek Road with its four-ways on.

The caller related that they had stopped to check on the occupant, who displayed erratic behavior and was visibly upset. A check of the registration revealed that the owner was the subject of several welfare checks and attempts to locate the vehicle, one of which occurred the previous day, court documents state.

Police located the vehicle turning out of Myers Lane onto State Route 14 northbound. The reporting witness' vehicle was a short distance ahead, and when they pulled to the side of the road, Fisher followed. Both vehicles then moved back to the highway, with Fisher doing so without a turn signal. A traffic stop was initiated shortly after, according to an affidavit.

Fisher had glassy, bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, and the odor of alcohol was detected from the vehicle, police allege. An open alcoholic beverage was visible behind the driver's seat, and Fisher admitted she had consumed alcohol during dinner.

Police requested the reporting witness return to the sign to positively identify the vehicle and driver as those that they had called about. The witness and a passenger confirmed they had made the report about Fisher out of concern for her welfare due to her erratic driving, which included rapid acceleration, weaving on the roadway, and turning her lights off and on, according to an affidavit.

Fisher failed a field sobriety, stating that she had also taken prescription medication earlier in the day, police allege.

Police discovered a small glass pipe with marijuana residue in Fisher's purse. She had a BAC of .03, and lab results were positive for the presence of THC. Fisher was charged with DUI, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, two summary offenses and released.
