Three people were hurt, including a child, when an SUV and a cement truck collided at Clarkstown Road and Route 442 about 6:20 a.m. Saturday, according to Muncy Area fire officials. A woman and a juvenile were in the SUV, and the female driver was ejected from the vehicle, fire officials said. She was rushed by ambulance to UPMC Williamsport, and the child was taken to the same medical facility. The driver of the truck was taken by ambulance to UPMC Muncy. An undetermined amount of cement spilled on the road as a result of the collision, and employees with the state Department of Transportation were working to clean up the mess. State police were leading the investigation into the accident. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
