While executing a search warrant at the home of Eric Steinbacher at 1320 Lymehurst Parkway in Loyalsock Township on the morning of Jan. 3, state troopers seized 84 grams of cocaine and nearly $12,000 in cash, according to court records filed at the office of District Judge Gary Whiteman. In addition to being charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, Steinbacher, 41, faces a felony charge of endangering the welfare of a child and a misdemeanor charge of recklessly endangering another person because Steinbacher stored the moderate amount of cocaine in a child’s bedroom closet, investigators alleged. Following his arraignment before Whiteman, Steinbacher was initially jailed in the Lycoming County Prison, but has since been released on $15,000 bail. He recently waived his preliminary hearing.
