Michael L. Smith, 45, of 836 Memorial Ave., was charged by the county's Narcotics Enforcement Unit with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly having six bags of cocaine in the 800 block of Memorial Avenue in the city on Nov. 7. He waived his preliminary hearing this week before Frey and remains free on $15,000 bail.
In another case, Dillon Zinck, 30, of Antes Fort, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and illegal use of a communication device after allegedly selling seven grams of bath salts to an informant at Route 44 and Lehman Drive in Nippenose Township on Jan. 16, 2023, state police alleged in an affidavit. Following his recent arraignment before District Judge Gary Whiteman, Zinck was released on $15,000 bail.
