City man incarcerated on drug and theft-related charges
Trevor Daniel Fraboni, 32, of 339 Lyons Ave., faces two sets of charges, including one filed by state police after he sold various amounts of cocaine to an undercover trooper on four occasions between mid-November and Jan. 23, it was alleged in court papers at Biichle's office. While three of the alleged sales occurred at Fabroni's city home, a fourth took place in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard in the city, police said. Following his arraignment last week before Whiteman on four felony counts each of delivery of a controlled substance and illegal use of a cell phone, Fraboni was jailed in lieu of $75,000 bail.
In the second criminal case, between last summer and early November, Travis Bashista gave Fraboni two of his electric guitars to do work on them, according to city police. However, Fraboni ended up selling the two guitars to local businesses, police alleged. It was estimated that Bashista was out $700, police added. In this case, Fraboni has been charged with five counts of theft by deception as well as two counts each of theft and receiving stolen property. Whiteman ordered Fraboni jailed in lieu of $10,000 on these charges.
Three women charged
in separate shoplifting cases
Between Sept. 23 and Dec. 7, Angela Reid, 38, of 12 N. Market St., Muncy, has been charged with felony shoplifting for allegedly stealing $1,320 worth of merchandise from the Weis Store at 1272 E. Penn St. in Muncy Creek Township, state police alleged in an affidavit. When a trooper responded to her home on Feb. 14 and informed her that she was being investigated for the thefts, "Reid became emotionally agitated and began apologizing for allegedly committing the thefts. She related she stole the items because she did not have the funds to afford them," the affidavit stated. Following her arraignment before District Judge Kirsten Gardner, Reid was released on $10,000 bail. She has since waived her preliminary hearing.
In another case, Ashleigh Schooley, 27, of 621 Lloyd St., apartment 1, has been charged with felony shoplifting after allegedly stealing $9 worth of merchandise from Wegmans, 201 William St., on Feb. 27, city police alleged in an affidavit. This was her third shoplifting arrest, police said. Arraigned before District Judge Christian Frey, Schooley was released on $5,000 bail She also has been charged with tampering with evidence for attempting to conceal a pipe used to inhale controlled substances once she was in custody.
In another case, Catherine M. Meehan, 32, of 218 Mountain Road, Muncy Valley, has been charged with misdemeanor shoplifting after stealing $383 of merchandise from the Weis store in Muncy Creek Township between June and November of last year, state police alleged in court papers. Police said she allegedly fled the store with merchandise nearly two dozen times during that time period. She has waived her preliminary hearing before Gardner and is free on $5,000 bail.
