Around 8:30 a.m. on March 4, city police responded to several reports of a man walking in traffic along the Market Street bridge and found 28 year old Andrew Halliday, listed as homeless, sitting in the median of the roadway, court documents said.
As police approached, Halliday staggered towards the exit ramp from I-180.
He had a strong odor of both alcohol and burnt marijuana, police said. A prescription pill bottle was also found on Halliday during a consensual search.
Within the bottle, not in Halliday's name, was five trazodone hydrochloride tablets, two lorazepam pills and raw marijuana, according to an affidavit.
A marijuana pipe was also located in his jacket pocket.
Arraigned by District Judge Aaron Biichle on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and a summary offense, Halliday was released on $5,000 bail.
