Three Wednesday morning accidents keep emergency responders busy

Three non-injury accidents in the region in 30 minutes – Emergency responders had a busy Wednesday morning handling three separate crashes in a very short period of time.
The first one involved a Mitsubishi Mirage (first photo) and a Buick Enclave that colliided at East Southern Avenue and Hastings Street in South Williamsport about 9:40 a m. Both vehicles needed to be towed from the scene.
Minutes later, a tractor-trailer truck snagged an overhead line at Campbell and High streets and pulled down a traffic light (second photo), city police said.
About 10:10 a.m. Old Lycoming Township firefighters and Lycoming Regional police were dispatched to Lycoming Creek and Beautys Run roads, where a pickup truck and a car collided. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
