Two men charged with felony shoplifting in separate cases

Gary Lomison, 76, of 795 Windswept Drive, Linden, has been charged with felony shoplifting after he fled with $171 worth of merchandise from the Weis Market on Allegheny Street in Jersey Shore on April 22, Lycoming Regional police alleged in a criminal complaint. This was Lomison’s third shoplifting charge, police said. Arraigned last week before District Judge William Solomon, Lomison has since waived his preliminary hearing and remains free on $15,000 bail.
In another case, Jonathan Tindell, 47, of 324 Campbell St., has been charged with felony shoplifting and receiving stolen property after stealing $6 worth of beer from Sheetz, 105 Maynard St., on April 10, city police alleged. This was his third shoplifting arrest, police said. Arraigned before Frey, Tindell has since waived his preliminary hearing and remains jailed in lieu of $2,500 bail.
