The back of this Nissan Altima was crushed after it was rear-ended by a Dodge Dakota pickup truck at Penn and Sheridan streets in Williamsport, about 3:40 p.m. Monday, Williamsport police said. The impact pushed the car about 30 yards, police said. The truck, whose driver fled on foot, also collided with a Jeep 4×4, police said.

Both the female driver of the Jeep and male driver of the Nissan were taken by ambulances to UPMC Williamsport to be treated for their injuries, police said.
