Butler man charged with harassment after allegedly texting woman 100 plus times a day

Despite being made aware that further contact could result in criminal charges, Keith Nicolaus Young, 23, of Butler, continued to harass an alleged victim, sometimes texting her more than 100 times a day, Lycoming Regional alleged in an affidavit.
Though she had blocked both his number and Facebook, the alleged victim said the messages continued to come through due to a glitch common in older series Apple iWatch models, the alleged victim told police.
Young allegedly created a fake Instagram account to continue messaging the alleged victim, court documents said.
The messages ranged from expressing hate for the alleged victim to telling her how much he still loved her.
“I’ll never give up on you. I made that promise to you and I’ll keep that till the day I die,” one message read, according to the affidavit.
Young was arraigned on a charge of harassment by District Judge Denise Dieter.
