Williamsport woman charged with child endangerment after making complaint to police

A Williamsport woman who visited state police headquarters to report that her child was being withheld from her was the one that ended up behind bars after an investigation revealed that she was allegedly using controlled substances around the child, according to an affidavit.
On July 18, 2025, Destiny Elaine Little, 32, of 927 Arch St., Williamsport, visited state police headquarters in Montoursville, relating that she was in the process of moving out of her parents’ house, and that her mother had refused to release her five-month-old child.
Interviewed by police, Little’s mother stated that she had refused to give Little the child due to concerns for his safety.
Just days prior, the mother allegedly arrived home to find the infant crying and inside a pillow case next to Little, who was passed out. She further stated that she had found drug paraphernalia belonging to Little inside the home, court documents said.
The mother added that the child had been born while Little was incarcerated at a state prison, and that he has been with them ever since.
Little was arraigned by District Judge Gary Whiteman and jailed at the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
