Seven face drug-related charges in Lycoming County
Seven people have been charged with various drug offenses in separate cases, according to court records. Those charged were:
• County Prison inmate Adrian Harry, 36, of Philadelphia; the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU); two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance as a result of an undisclosed amount of marijuana and crack cocaine that was seized by detectives from a home in the 900 block of Park Avenue after he was arrested on Aug. 2 on Park Avenue for felony firearm charges. Harry, who is also known as A-Money, admitted the seized controlled substance belonged to him; he was recommitted in lieu of an additional $50,000 following his arraignment last week on the drug charges.
• Vanessa Jo Snyder, 38, of 671 Campbell St., apartment 2W; state police; possession of crack cocaine and marijuana at Sixth Avenue and High Street in the city on May 14; she has waived her preliminary hearing and is free on $5,000 bail.
• County prison inmate Jason Robert Yahn, 42, who is homeless and incarcerated on several unrelated charges; city police; possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance for allegedly having 3.3 grams of methamphetamines when he was taken into custody following a brief high-speed pursuit while operating a motorcycle that crashed into a parked truck at Memorial Avenue and Grier Street on May 7; he fled on foot, but was quickly apprehended; while he is free on $25,000 bail in this case, he remains locked up on other criminal charges.
• John Charles Reed, 37, of 323 E. First Ave., South Williamsport; NEU; delivery of a controlled substance for his alleged involvement in the selling of an undisclosed amount of cocaine to an informant in the 400 block of Brandon Avenue in the city on March 10; initially jailed, but now free on $75,000 bail; he has since waived his preliminary hearing.
• John Maurice Allen, 44, of 1200 Sherman St.; state police; delivery of a controlled substance for allegedly selling 44 grams of cocaine to a woman inside an apartment 950 Main Street in South Williamsport on Oct. 18; he is free on $25,000 bail and has since waived his preliminary hearing.
• Brian Dejarnette Williams, 44, of Chester; NEU; two felony counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count each of illegal possession of firearm and receiving stolen property after 20 pounds of marijuana as well as an undisclosed amount of cocaine and a stolen handgun were seized from a city home in the 1200 block of Freed Place back in mid-October; he was recently held for court on all the charges and is now free $95,000 bail. (Co-defendant Deborah Dickerson, 40, of Ewing, New Jersey, was arrested on felony conspiracy charges earlier this year and is also free on bail).
• Dashuan Singleton, 33, of Philadelphia; NEU; delivery of a controlled a controlled substance for allegedly selling 1.1 grams of crack cocaine to an informant in the 300 block of Campbell Street clear back on July 6, 2020; he has waived his preliminary hearing; initially jailed he is now free $35,000 bail.
