The woman driving the Ford Taurus was taken by ambulance to UPMC Williamsport to get medical treatment for injuries she suffered when her car and a Subaru Forester collided at Sherman and Tucker streets about noon Friday, city police said. This crash occurred about 10 minutes after a red Ford Escape and a pickup collided at West Third and Elmira streets, resulting in the driver of the Escape being sent to the hospital for medical treatment, police said. City firefighters responded to both accidents at well.
