Danville man charged with stealing vehicle in Porter Township

Josiah Dean Musselman, 44, of Danville, has been charged with theft by unlawful taking and other counts after he was allegedly captured on surveillance video stealing a 2006 Ford F-350 from PDP Repair Shop, 2007 Dennison Drive in Porter Township at 2:18 a.m. on Sept. 24, 2025, Lycoming Police allege in an affidavit.

Musselman allegedly arrived on the property around 1 a.m. and entered the vehicle, which had been towed to the lot for repair the prior day.

The owner of the vehicle confirmed that Musselman did not have permission to take the vehicle, and the keys were locked inside the officer of the business, court documents said.

The vehicle was located, being operated by Musselman, at 5:40 a.m. on Sept. 30, in Berwick. There was apparent damage to the steering column due to the truck having been hotwired, and Musselman allegedly made statements to police that he had stolen the vehicle, according to an affidavit.

Musselman was arraigned on charges of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief by District Judge Denise Dieter and remanded to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of 75,000 bail.
