Man injured in accident near Linden

The man driving the Subarau Outback at left was being treated at UPMC Williamsport for neck injuries he suffered when his car and a tractor-trailer truck collided in the northbound lanes of Route 220, just outside Linden about 10:45 a.m. Monday, according to state police. Motorists are advised to use extra caution in the area since traffic was down to one lane until a tow truck operator removes the vehicle.

This crash follows a three-vehicle accident at West Fourth and Poplar streets in Williamsport that sent one of the drivers, a 64-year-old Lock Haven man, to the hospital about 9:50 a.m., city police said.
