Bruce Drum, 42, of 713 Diamond St., and Jamie Lee West, 50, of 809 Diamond St., Willamsport, both face felony charges of theft, receiving stolen property and theft of secondary metal after stealing an estimated $5,000 worth of scrap aluminum from a recycling dumpster belonging to Overhead Door on Reach Road between October 4 and Friday, it was alleged by city police. The two were arrested Friday when they were caught attempting to off-load more stolen scrap at a Montgomery area salvage business, police alleged. Following their arraignment before District Judge Denise Dieter, West was jailed in lieu of $20,000 bail while Drum was released on $15,000 bail.
