Williamsport man accused of selling firearm to undercover cop

Karrieam Jamal Jenkins, 50, of Williamsport, has been charged with illegal possession of a firearm and illegal sale or transfer of a firearm after he allegedly sold a Ruger .44 Mag Redhawk revolver to an undercover police officer in the 600 block of Campbell Street on May 28, 2025, authorities with the Lycoming County District Attorney’s Office said in an affidavit.

Jenkins, a person not to possess due to a previous conviction, allegedly traded the firearm for $400 in prerecorded police funds, according to court documents.

Arraigned by District Judge Aaron Biichle, Jenkins was released on $25,000 bail.
