Williamsport woman jailed after allegedly fleeing police

City police have charged Tierra Nicole Lyons, 26, of 1516 W. Fourth St., with evading arrest or detention on foot and resisting arrest after she allegedly fled as officers attempted to apprehend her on a bench warrant for a previous domestic disturbance on Oct. 8, 2025.
Spotted in the 600 block of Washington Boulevard, Lyons initially provided a name, date of birth and partial social security number before allegedly taking off as police returned to their car to run a check of the information, they said in an affidavit.
Lyons was allegedly observed jumping several fences and running through multiple yards in the 200 block of Brandon Place, and was ultimately located hiding in bushes in the 200 block of Hughes Street.
Lyons allegedly refused to surrender, causing police to enter the bushes and use force to remove her, court documents said.
Lyons was arraigned by District Judge Aaron Biichle and remanded to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
