Convicted felon incarcerated for failing to register his address
Convicted sex offender Georgio N. Rochon, 38, is back behind bars and faces three felony counts of failure to comply with registration requirements after he moved to “various residences” in the county without ever registering the addresses with the state police within the required time frame, it was alleged in a city police criminal complaint filed at the office of District Judge Aaron Biichle. The alleged offenses occurred during a three-week period between Sept. 16 and Oct. 8, police said. Following his recent arraignment, Rochon was jailed in the county prison in lieu of $25,000 bail. Rochon was convicted in September 2024 of felony charges of possession of child pornography and aggravated indecent assault, and was sentenced 12 to 24 months in prison. He was released from prison on Sept. 16 after serving a year behind bars.
