A Hughesville woman faces a multitude of charges after she was arrested for DUI twice within days, according to court documents.

Mea Angelina Campbell, 21, of 61 W. Oak Ally Fl. 2nd, Hughesville, was first stopped by Muncy Borough Police on Aug. 2, 2025, after an officer patrolling in the area of West Penn and Railroad streets heard the sounds of yelling and an ongoing argument.

While attempting to find the source of the disturbance, the officer observed the start of a vehicle in the 200 block of Angletown Road, followed by a female voice relating that if the driver wasn’t safe to drive, for her stay at that location several times and voicing obvious concern over the driver’s ability to drive safely.

Campbell’s 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse allegedly made a wide turn onto West Water Street and swerved within its lane until it pulled over in the 100 block of West Water Street, according to an affidavit.

As Campbell stepped out of the vehicle, an officer approached her and noted her to have glassy, bloodshot eyes and an odor of alcohol from her breath, police said.

Also observed was a large crack in her windshield and the fact that her emission and inspection stickers were expired.

Campbell allegedly denied consuming alcohol, but failed a field sobriety test and had a BAC of .15, according to an affidavit.

Less than a month later, on Aug. 30, Campbell was taken into custody by state police in the 100 block of North Main Street, Hughesville, at 12:30 a.m., when she allegedly stopped past the white line at a steady red light. Additionally, the vehicle had an operable tail light, police allege.

Campbell was allegedly slow to respond to emergency lights activated by police, who smelled an odor of alcohol emanating from the vehicle upon approach.

While speaking with Campbell, police allegedly observed the large crack in the vehicle’s windshield, the vehicle’s inspection sticker to have expired and empty alcohol containers within the vehicle.

Campbell had glassy, bloodshot eyes and admitted to having consumed one alcoholic beverage approximately one hour prior, an affidavit said.

She failed a partial field sobriety test and allegedly had a BAC of .10.

Campbell was arraigned on charges of DUI and six summary offenses across the two instances by District Judge Kirsten Gardner and released on $2,500 bail.
