On the morning of Oct. 13, while an inmate at the county prison’s Pre-Release Center at 540 County Farm Road in Loyalsock Township, Agelina Irizarry climbed over a fence to a public parking lot and attempted to walk off the property when staff members spotted her and quickly apprehended her, according to an affidavit filed by county Detective Stephen Sorage, Incarcerated on Sept. 4 at the Lycoming County Prison for 60 days due to a probation violation, Irizarry, 49, of 643 Campbell St.., was immediately placed in the prison after her capture, the detective said. The court document did not say when she was moved to the pre-release center. She has since been arraigned before District Judge Gary Whiteman on one count of felony escape and recommitted in lieu of $15,000 bail. She was held for court on the charge following a preliminary hearing.
