Muncy man arrested after allegedly threatening man with a knife
Michael Wayne Brown, 44, of 14 N. Market St., Muncy, has been charged by borough police for threatening another man with a knife during a domestic disturbance on South Main Street on Oct. 22, it was alleged in an affidavit. When an officer attempted to take him into custody, Brown rushed past him and tried to get to the victim, but the officer deployed his taser gun before Brown reached him, police said. He was arraigned before District Christian Frey on charges of terroristic threats, resisting arrest and harassment, and jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail. He was held for court on all charges following his preliminary hearing last week.
