Variety of charges lodged in Lycoming County district courts

Inmate faces additional charges

Max Donald Fox, 38, of 332 Washington Ave., Jersey Shore, has been arrested on charges of unlawful dissemination of an intimate image and harassment after posting on social media last month a photo of a former partner “engaged in sexual conduct,” Lycoming Regional police alleged in a court document.

The victim told investigators that Fox allegedly drove by her home several times and killed flowers on her porch earlier this year after the two broke up. The woman told Fox to leave her alone, but he told her “the only way I’m going to stop is if I get a second protection from abuse order against me,” an officer wrote in an affidavit. The alleged harassment occurred in Jersey Shore, police said.

Fox, already jailed on another criminal matter, was arraigned Friday morning before District Judge Denise Dieter and recommitted to Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Homeless man jailed on felony charges

Thomas Samuel Gonzalez, 59, who is homeless, has been jailed on felony charges of burglary, theft, trespassing and criminal mischief for allegedly stealing an estimated $5,000 worth of copper wire and pipe from an office building at 2925 W. Fourth St. during the first two weeks of October, city police said. Nabbed inside the building on Oct. 17, Gonzalez was arraigned before

Gardner and jailed in lieu of $35,000 bail. He has since waived his preliminary hearing.

Two women face felony shoplifting charge in separate cases

Tamarah Marie Roth, 35, of 10990 Route 14, Ralston, has been charged with felony shoplifting after she and a juvenile fled the Weis Market at 1916 Lycoming Creek Road with $47 worth of merchandise on Oct. 26, Lycoming Regional police allege. She also faces an additional misdemeanor charge of corrupting the morals of a minor, police said. Following her arraignment before District Judge William Solomon.

In another case, Sherri Faddis, 43, of 702 Penn St., has been charged with the same shoplifting offense after she fled Vape Haven, 230 W. Third St., with $89 worth of merchandise on Oct. 16, city police allege. Following her arraignment before District Judge Christian Frey, Faddis was released on $10,000. This was her third shoplifting offense, police said.

Father faces charges for allegedly shoving daughter to the floor

James Lee Hall Jr., 37, of 102 Cornwall Ave., Trout Run, will face further court action on state police charges of endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault and harassment after he recently waived his preliminary hearing before Solomon.

The charges stem from him shoving his daughter in “an overly aggressive man” at his home on Oct, 17, resulting in injuries to both her wrists, police alleged. One of the girl’s wrists had “a slight disfigurement to it” as a result of the injury, police said. Hall remains free on $15,000 bail.
