Jersey Shore woman accused of trespassing

A Jersey Shore woman has been charged with defiant trespass and other offenses after she allegedly entered a home in the 1100 block of McGill Hollow Road in Woodward Township on April 10, 2025, and offered the resident marijuana in exchange for a ride home, state police said in an affidavit.

Startled by the presence of Kasha Marie Bassett, 30, of 127 Wildwing Boulevard, Jersey Shore, the alleged victim told police he used his body to force her from the home.

Upon questioning, Bassett allegedly surrendered three grams of marijuana, also relating that she had smoked some of the drug, according to court documents.

District Judge Denise Dieter arraigned Bassett on charges of defiant trespass, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness, and released her in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Starting at $2.99/week.
