Two women face assault charges in separate cases

Katiria Santiago, 45, of Reading, will face further court action of charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct and harassment for punching a female acquaintance twice in the head during a disturbance inside a home in the 2000 block of Mill Lane in Old Lycoming Township on Dec. 6, Lycoming Regional police alleged in an affidavit. Arraigned hours later before Biichle, Santiago remains jailed in lieu of $5,000 bail.

In another case, Amber Deanna-Lynn Miller, 30 of 568 Railroad St., Picture Rocks, has been charged with simple assault and harassment for punching a man in the face multiple times while “appearing intoxicated” during a disturbance at their home on Dec. 1, according to Hughesville police, which provides law enforcement for the borough. Miller has since waived her preliminary hearing before District Judge Kirsten Gardner and is free on $5,000 bail.
