Cogan House Township man faces credit card theft charges
Zakary Allen Koch, 33, of 383 Koch Horn Lane, Cogan Station, has been charged with felony access device fraud, theft by unlawful taking and identity theft for allegedly making unauthorized purchases on an online sports betting website using a woman’s credit card without her knowledge or permission, Lycoming Regional police alleged in a criminal complaint. Koch obtained the credit card information from the victim while helping her clean her home in Nippenose Township, police said, adding the woman discovered on Sept. 17 that Koch had allegedly charged $1,335 on her card without her consent. Following his arraignment last week before District Judge Kirsten Gardner, Koch was released on $15,000 bail.
