Domestic disturbance results in Woodward Township man’s incarceration
When state troopers arrived at a Route 220 apartment in Woodward Township on Sunday night to speak with a female victim of a violent domestic disturbance, they found the woman’s “face, nose and mouth covered in blood,” it was stated in an affidavit. It is alleged that her former boyfriend, Garrett Wyatt Campbell, 27, of 204 Back St., Linden, inflicted her injuries during a “verbal argument that turned physical” in his home, police said, The argument was over Campbell “proposing” to the woman, police said. It was alleged that he punched her in the face, knocking her to the ground,” police said. “He then grabbed her head, and repeatedly struck her head off the ground, causing her nose to bleed,” it was stated in the court document. Following his arraignment before District Judge Christian Frey on charges of simple assault and harassment, Campbell was locked up in the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $15,000 bail.
