Man charged after allegedly attempting to break into Jersey Shore skills machine

With bolt cutters, a pry bar and other tools, Zachary Corey Cooper attempted to break into a skills payout machine at the B&D Laundromat, 214 S. Main St., Jersey Shore, last March 24, causing an estimated $1,630, Lycoming Regional police alleged in an affidavit. Charged with attempted theft, possession of an instrument of crime and criminal mischief, Cooper, 38, of Bellefonte, has been sent a summons to appear before District Judge Denise Dieter.
