Anthony James Welker, 57, of 231 Whyne Road, Jersey Shore, has been charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment following a domestic disturbance in his Mifflin Township home on Dec. 7 in which he is alleged to have attempted to choke his sister, according to state police. He was held for court last week on all the charges following a preliminary hearing before District Judge Denise Dieter and was released on $7,500 bail.
