Following a domestic disturbance in his Muncy Creek Township home about 3:20 p.m. on Dec. 19, Casey Stidfole, 34, of 517 Pepper St., landed in the county prison on state police charges of felony strangulation, simple assault and harassment. The charges stem from Stidfole choking and headbutting a woman, who told state troopers that she was “scared for her life,” it was stated in an affidavit. Following his arraignment hours later before District Judge Denise Dieter, Stidfole was initially jailed, but has since been released on $20,000 bail. He was recently held for court on all the charges following a preliminary hearing.
