Water run-off from firefighting efforts quickly turned to ice in the single digit temperatures, causing additional hazards for emergency crews.

Numerous crews were called to the scene of a house fire in the 2300 block of Bedardo Drive in South Williamsport Tuesday night.
The call went out shortly before 11 p.m., with initial scanner reports indicating possible entrapment.
The fire was upgraded to a second alarm around 11:15 p.m.
