Adam Taylor
The vehicle stolen following a Thursday afternoon shooting incident has been recovered, though the suspect, Adam Taylor, remains at large, state police said in a press release Sunday.
The vehicle, a red Dodge pickup truck, was located Sunday morning in the area of Beaver Lake in Penn Township according to the release.
An arrest warrant was issued for Taylor, 47, of South Williamsport, after he allegedly rammed an SUV being driven by an ex-female paramour along Route 220 South, before firing one shot in her direction from inside the truck, state police confirmed.
The woman’s SUV crashed, landing in the northbound passing lane, just north of Pine Run Road.
No one was injured in the shooting that occurred near Queneshaque Road about 3:30 p.m.
Taylor drove a short distance before abandoning his truck and stealing the recovered vehicle.
“Police are still actively looking for Adam Taylor. If you believe you’ve seen him, contact 911 immediately. He is considered armed and dangerous,” the release said.
