Scott William Showers, 37, of 1626 Catherine St., has been arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a minor under the age of five on one occasion between January 2023 and last August, it was alleged in a city police affidavit.

Following his recent arraignment before District Judge Kirsten Gardener on charges of felony aggravated indecent assault of a child and two misdemeanor counts of indecent assault, Showers remains in the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
