Mary Ann Weidler, 71, of 124 Centerline Ave., has been arrested on charges of defiant trespassing and resisting arrest as a result of an incident that began initially when she trespassed at a home at 2225 Fox St. in Old Lycoming Township on July 6, according to Lycoming Regional police. She had been at the property earlier and told that a protection from abuse order made it illegal to be on the premises. When officers went to her city home later the same day to take into custody for trespassing, Weidler put up a struggle, it was alleged in an affidavit. Following her arraignment before District Judge Gary Whiteman, she was initially jailed, but has since been released on $7,500. She recently waived her preliminary hearing.
