Jersey Shore man locked up after allegedly assaulting girlfriend

Conor James Doyle, 21, of 409 High St., Jersey Shore, has been locked up on charges of allegedly assaulting his girlfriend while she was holding their 1-year-old child during a domestic disturbance in the 1100 block of Allegheny Street in the borough about 3 a m. Wednesday, according to Lycoming Regional police.

While in an intoxicated condition, Doyle began slapping the woman's face and then pushed her onto a bed only to pull her off the bed by her hair, police alleged. Following his arraignment before District Judge Kirsten Gardner on a felony charge of endangering the welfare of a child, recklessly endangering another person, simple assault and harassment, Doyle was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $35,000 bail.
