Kevin Curtis Heeman, 20, of Muncy, has been arrested on charges of felony attempted burglary, and criminal mischief for breaking a window at Smokers Square at 16 S. Main St. on March 12. Muncy police alleged. Police posted on their social media page a photo image from surveillance video that showed the suspect. Once it was posted, police received a tip that the man in the picture was Heeman. When taken into custody for questioning, Heeman admitted to the vandalism in an attempt to steal merchandise from the business, but after using a rock to smash the window, he told investigators that he had “second thoughts” and decided against entering the store, it was stated in an affidavit.

Following his arraignment before Gardner, Heeman was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
