A woman is back in jail after a judge held her for court on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, accusing her of encouraging a teenage girl to run away and supplying her with drugs and vaping devices.
According to FOX56, Gwen R. Ardner, 42, of Avis was bound over following a preliminary hearing Monday in Lock Haven.
District Judge Frank Mills concluded the commonwealth, represented by Clinton County District Attorney Dave Strouse, established a prima facie case on each charge.
Ardner faces three counts of corruption of minors, all first-degree misdemeanors.
The allegations include that Ardner encouraged a 16-year-old female juvenile to run away from her father; gave the girl advice about how to hide drugs and tobacco products so her father would not find them in the future; and engaged in a conversation and negotiation with the girl for Ardner to purchase marijuana and tobacco vape devices for her, including arranging delivery to the juvenile while she was grounded at home.
