Man injured when truck overturns in Upper Fairfield Township
The man driving this stake body truck, which was carrying a load of dirt, climbed out of it on his own after it crashed and overturned on its passenger side on Route 87, just north of Carey Hill Road, in Upper Fairfield Township about 2 p.m. Wednesday, according to state police. The driver was taken by ambulance to UPMC Williamsport to get medical treatment for his injuries, according to Montoursville fire officials. A man near the scene volunteered his services, using a piece of equipment to quickly upright the truck and clear the road of the spilled dirt.
