Nine motorists have been charged with DUI and related offenses, according to court documents recently made public. Those charged were:

Matthew Lyn Hipple, 24, of Wilkes Barre; state police in the 400 block of Berger Street in the city on Aug. 15, 2025; also charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and two summary offenses.

Joseph Allen Engel, 52, of 221 Chestnut St., Muncy; state police at Interstate 180 East and Maynard Street on July 28, 2025; also charged with two summary offenses.

Camden James Gormont, 20, of Frenchville; state police at Park Street and College Avenue on Nov. 22, 2025; also charged with consumption of alcohol by a person under 21 and two other summary offenses.

Sydney Elizabeth Fry, 20, of 912 W. Fourth St., Apt. 25, city; state police in the 300 block of Maynard Street in the city on Jan. 3, 2026; also charged with four summary offenses.

Samantha Lynn Ferguson, 24, of 335 Eldred St., city; state police at the Maynard Street on-ramp to Interstate 180 East on Nov. 23, 2025; also charged with four summary offenses.

Michael Paul Sciacca, 72, of 2323 Fairview Terrace, city; city police in the 2300 block of Fairview Terrace on Jan. 23, 2026.

Kelly Lynn Morey, 37, of 2500 Federal Ave., Apt. 249, city; state police at West Fourth and Diamond streets in the city on Dec. 31, 2025; also charged with a summary offense.

Michael Anthony Vaccaro, 25, of 20 S. Main St., Montgomery; state police at West Fourth and Fonda streets in the city on Nov. 8, 2025; also charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and two summary offenses.

Sierra Marie Pietsch, 24, of 68 Spruce Road, Waterville; Lycoming Regional police in the 600 block of Railroad Street in Jersey Shore on Feb. 7, 2026; also charged with two summary offenses.
