Nine face drug-related charges in Lycoming County

Nine people have been charged with various drug offenses, according to count records that were recently made public.

• Basil Tyjae Arties, 31, who has no known address and who was recently released from serving federal parole following his conviction for his involvement in a conspiracy to distribute fentanyl and tramadol in the city in 2019 and 2020; the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU); delivery of crack cocaine to an informant in the 600 block of Washington Boulevard in the city on March 30; jailed in lieu of $50,000 bail.

• Jeremy Paul Thompson Jr., 32, of Rochester, New York; state police; possession of marijana as well as possession of an unidentified “white powder substance and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number on Route 220 in Woodward Township on March 27; released on $35,000 bail.

• State parolee Amin Julius Pearsall, 25, of Upper Darby; the county’s NEU; possession with intent to deliver cocaine, tampering with evidence and illegal use of a communication device after detectives seized the controlled substance from him while executing a search warrant at 945 Memorial Ave. in the city on March 18; he allegedly planned to sell cocaine to an informant, but backed out at the last minute, investigators said; the tampering charge stems from him allegedly eating some of the cocaine when detectives broke down his door; jailed in lieu of $85,000 bail.

• Sawyer Kristine Scott, 26, of 822 Park Ave., city; the county’s NEU ; delivery of a crack cocaine and illegal use of a communication facility for her alleged involvement in the sale of three bags of the controlled substance to a confidential informant for $100 in the 1600 block of Scott Street in the city on Jan. 30, 2026; jailed in lieu of $35,000.

• Joseph Jon Deangelo, 41, of 219 Jerome Ave., Floor 2; city police; possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was caught allegedly smoking the controlled substance in the 1200 block of Vine Avenue on Jan.. 30; released on $10,000 bail.

• Stephen David Hindman, 58, of 612 Fifth Ave.; who is on county probation; the county’s NEU; possession with intent to deliver fentanyl as well as cocaine and ecstasy as a result of the finding and seizure of the controlled substance during a search of his city home Nov. 9; jailed since last month in lieu of $50,000 bail.

• George Woodring Jr., 49, of 474 Willow Brook Road; state police; three counts each of delivery of methamphetamine and illegal use of a communication device following his alleged involvement in three sales of the controlled substance to an informant on East Willow Street in the city between Aug. 9 and Oct. 3; released on $50,000 bail.

• Zarin Allen Hornberger, 30, of 1924 Sweeley Ave.; the county’s NEU; two counts each of delivery of cocaine and conspiracy for his alleged involvement in two drug transactions at West Third and Arch streets in the city – one on Sept. 4 and another on Sept. 26; released on $25,000 bail.

• Meghan Good, 41, of 117 Sixth St., South Williamsport; the county’s NEU; delivery of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility for allegedly selling 0.5 grams of fentanyl to a confidential informant in the 6400 block of Route 220 in Linden on Aug. 21; jailed in lieu of $75,000.
