Sanaa Marie Lightner, 18, of 344 Campbell St., has been charged with criminal trespass, aggravated assault of an enumerated person and harassment after she allegedly made entry into a home in the 800 block of West Third Street on March 25, 2026, attempting to attack a 16-year-old alleged victim, city officials said in court filings.
A resident of the home told police that Lightner had come by to pick up some clothing, but when told to wait on the porch, pushed her way into the residence, grabbed a hold of the alleged victim’s hair and struck her in the face.
Upon arrival, police allegedly encountered Lightner attempting to make her way upstairs to the female. She was detained by responding officers, but repeatedly pulled away, stating her intention to kill the alleged victim, an affidavit said.
The alleged victim's hair was observed to be in disarray and a small speck of blood was evident on her nose.
While being moved to a holding area at police headquarters, Lightner allegedly kicked an officer in the thigh.
Arraigned by District Judge Kirsten Gardner, Lightner was jailed at the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
