State troopers in three vehicles were needed to get the suspected drunk driver of this pickup truck to stop on Interstate 180 at the Maynard Street interchange in the city about 2:20 p.m Tuesday, according to authorities. The driver was traveling at dangerously-slow speeds as other motorists flew by at 60-70 miles per hour. Once he pulled over, the driver was taken into custody without incident and his truck was towed from the scene, police said. There were open beer cans in the truck, police said. The driver’s identity will be released once charges are formally filed. The slow-speed pursuit began on the interstate in Loyalsock Township, police said.
