Convicted felon arrested on drug and firearm charges in Williamsport

Convicted felon Dominic Aaron Reynolds was arrested early Monday morning when state troopers found a handgun under the passenger seat of his BMW, which they stopped outside his home because of a vehicle code violation. Reynolds, 28, of 1212 Monroe Place, Williamsport, convicted of robbery in early 2017, had consented to allowing the troopers to search the car after he handed over to them a small amount of crack cocaine that was in a container in the center console, according to an affidavit.

Charged with convicted felon not to possess a firearm, possession of crack cocaine, carrying a firearm without a license, possession of drug paraphernalia plus two summary offenses, including having illegal tinted windows, Reynolds was arraigned before District Judge Denise Dieter about 3:15 a.m., two hours after the vehicle stop. During the proceedings, he told Dieter “I was just stabbed five times.” He also said he was recovering from a collapsed lung. No information was available concerning the reported assault. Reynolds was released on $100,000 bail.
