When Elimsport and Nippenose Valley volunteer firefighters arrived on the scene of this log truck fire on Route 44 about noon Wednesday, the truck’s cab was engulfed in flames. The driver of the truck had already safely escaped the cab, fire officials said. He was traveling south when the fire broke out near the Limestone-Washington Township line. The cause of the fire was undetermined, and state police also were notified. The fire was under control in less than 15 minutes.
