Cogan Station man charged with defiant trespass after being told to leave grocery store

Kenneth Lee Williamson, 61, of 2525 Oak St., Cogan Station, has been charged with defiant trespass after he visited a grocery store in the 200 block of William Street in the city on Feb. 25, 2026, just five days after he had been told by employees not to return to the store, city police said in an affidavit.

Williamson related that he likes to watch television in the store’s cafe area, and acknowledged that he had been trespassed from the premises “five years ago,” according to court documents.

Just shy of three months later, Williamson was charged with defiant trespass and disorderly conduct after he allegedly refused to leave a business in the 600 block of Hepburn St., and subsequently defecated on the floor.

Williamson denied being told to leave as well as defecating in the business, however the reporting party told police she had surveillance video of the act.

Williamson was arraigned on the charges by District Judge Aaron Biichle, and remanded to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $2,500.

Starting at $2.99/week.
