Duboistown woman charged with aggravated assault
A Duboistown woman is facing multiple charges after she allegedly threatened an alleged victim while holding a knife on Aug. 6, 2026, according to a state police affidavit.
Melissa Kathleen Klementovich, 59, of 2973 Cochran Ave., Duboistown, allegedly told the alleged victim that she could “end his life” multiple times during a domestic dispute.
At one point, the alleged victim noticed Klementovich holding a knife behind her back and began to wrestle with her in order to take it away from her, during which he sustained multiple scratches to his left arm and chest from Klementovich’s fingernails, court documents said.
Klementovich was allegedly highly intoxicated and made several statements about how she wanted the alleged victim dead.
While being evaluated by EMS, Klementovich allegedly kicked a paramedic into a wall, before being transported for further evaluation, an affidavit said.
She was arraigned on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment by District Judge Kirsten Gardner, and jailed at the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $35,000 bail.
